No Regrets?

When it comes down to do it, how do you know if you make the right decisions? Everyday you are faced with new problems, options and questions, whats to say that if you chose a different decision you would be where you are today? I know this is totally mindboggling and you are probably reading this and thinking what is she talking about, but if you ever really thought about this it would drive you crazy. Just think, what if instead of going to St. Johns, you went to a different college, your life wouldn't be the same, but would you still end up meeting the same people eventually? There was a movie called "Sliding Doors" staring Gwyneth Paltrow and John Hannah, where the movie showed Gwyneth missing a train or catching the train and seeing her life played out in both ways. In the movie her life is obviously different, but in the end it didn't matter. She still ended up at the same point. This is exactly my question, is that the truth, is everything you do in life just a question with the answer already figured out? Is it really true that whats ment to be will find its way? I always wondered those questions especially the question of if you have regrets or not. I guess when it truely comes down to it, no one should really have regrets, because everything you have done is for a reason and even if you don't know the reason, it happened because it was ment to happen. There is a quote from Sex and the City" from Carrie and I feel this is the perfect way to end this, "Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away."
